A Family business from the start

    Long Electric and Air Conditioning is a family owned and operated business.  Now over 35 years old, the company was originally founded in 1972 by Tom E. and Maxine Long, along with Harold and Sharon Long.  Harold and Sharon left the company in 1979 and Tommie and Mary joined the partnership in November of that year.  Tom and Maxine retired December 31, 1994.

     Tom E. Long, as founder, developed the business around his common sense ethics and integrity.  These are the principals on which we will continue to base the entire operation of the business.

    The premise of Long Electric and Air Conditioning has always been one of honesty, consideration, quality, and pride in workmanship.  Implementing these four elements has enabled our company to grow throughout the years and enjoy a healthy reputation within the community.

    Our service technicians are fully licensed and certified to perform electrical, heating, and air conditioning services.  They receive continuous training in order to keep up with changing technology and practices, such as EPA Certification. Our company is fully licensed, insured, and bonded.

      Everyone at Long Electric and Air Conditioning, from our customer care representatives to our technicians and installers respects the value of your time and your home. That’s why if our technician doesn’t show up on time, doesn’t wear "Floor Savers" to protect your floors, doesn’t clean up after themselves or you are not 100% satisfied you don’t pay for the service.
